I previously blogged about this fabulous new community in Bee Cave, TX called Falconhead West.
There are three different builders in the community, and I'll eventually get to talking about all of them. I'm going to start with Ryland Homes.
Ryland is building all over the community and even has an exclusive section. Falconhead West is split into the 60's section, 70's and the 80's. Each section is unique. For example, the 80's section are larger homes, because the lots are 80 feet wide, and they HAVE to have a tile or slate roof. They are not allowed to have a composition roof. All the builders have lots in this section so it leads to variations.
The 70's section, where I am, are medium sized homes, up to about 4200 sqft, with decent sized yards. All the builders are building within the 70's section so no two houses look alike.
The 60's section is exclusive to Ryland Homes. They are smaller lots, so they are smaller homes, up to about 3000 sqft, so they're still not "small", but they're not the size of the larger homes. Because the lots are smaller, you will get a smaller yard. Many are still three car garages like the other sections.
Ryland is the builder on the house next door to me in the 70's section, and the original buyers' tranfer from New York fell through, so I now have the opportunity to pick my own neighbor!!

It's 4070 sqft, stone and stucco, with the Master Suite downstairs. There are 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 3 car tandum garage, a study, GameRoom, Media Room...
The Kitchen has an island, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. The counters were just put in yesterday.
The view from the upstairs Balcony is very nice and the home backs to a greenbelt area.
If you wanna be my neighbor, let me know as there is a very strict interview process I'm holding! I mean, I have to live next to you for how many years? I want to make sure I like you!
