Back, before Alyssa was born, I blogged about one of my Baby Shower Gifts. I received some onsies that I thought were so cute.
Now that Alyssa is older and they fit, she's actually past the age for "onsies" so I thought they were wasted. However, this past weekend, I cut the bottoms off to make them just t-shirts. Genius!!
I put one on her earlier this week and sent her off to school.
The teachers thought it was so cute. I also ran into another Realtor while dropping her off. She noticed my Realtor license plates first, and then saw my daughter. She thought it was a very good idea and to take her everywhere like that.
What do you think?

Hi Donna. I think your daughter is beautiful.
She looks pretty comfy in that shirt too!
Ken
Donna, nice idea. I'm gald your daughter likes what you put on her. With my son...... I better not try. He is developing his little own personality and he know needs and teches me ,matching and color pattern etc .
But ,he attracts strangers where ever we go, so I can build my database :-)
Your daughter is so cute.
Donna:
She is absolutely adorable and what a great idea! You could make it a series. Make a shirt for every listing.
Ken, THanks! And it is a very soft shirt.
Suma, She likes to pick out her own clothes too, but I still have control and make it sound like, "isn't this a good shirt for today?" and she gets excited about it. She has to pick out her shoes though.
Claudette, Making a shirt for every listing sounds like a very intriguing idea...
I love it! I told James I have to get some shirts made up for the kids because I bet people give them a second look when it's just dad and the 3 boys going places...you don't see that much and my kids already grab attention being so little and close in age. Thanks for reminding me! That's a great idea to have it on them at school, gotta love free advertising! (Well, minus the cost of the shirts of course)
Sincerely,
Kathleen
Where did you get the shirt made? I had made some t-shirts to give away at our grand opening from Vista Prints I believe.
Sincerely,
Kathleen
Hey, Donna. They have to start earning their keep sometime, so why not now. LOL, Jim
Great tip with the onsies.
Donna - she is adorable! Love the shirt idea too! I was going to ask my son to build me something with legos that I could use in marketing... :) ~Rita
Hi Donna... First, Alyssa is, as usual, adorable. Now, as for the t-shirt, I think that using children for marketing could be an industry... kind of a pimp your child business that sells custom kids t-shirts and other marketing stuff for kids to wear that promotes their parents businesses.
Donna, your daughter is adorable! As for the marketing idea, I say nowadays we've gotta do whatever works...
Genius!
Who could refuse a spokesperson as adorable as your little girl!
Well done my friend!
Hahaha, I think she is going to be a TV star. The second pic looks like she is selling something on an infomercial. I think you may have a sales assistant in a few years.
Donna,
Very creative and I think it would work. Also Cathy Lee Gifford would be very proud.
I think that's pretty clever Donna, who can resist an adorable walking advertisement?
This is priceless! I love the idea and even if people think it's cute, when they are ready they may remember it. If you have a Sam's Club that processes photos in your area you can order a shirt. But wait! You can buy photo transfer paper at Wal-Mart and iron them on yourself! Very inexpensive.
I bought a bunch of "golf" shirts and had the words "got REALTOR?" imprinted on them. I have one in every color shirt available. When I am not working I still get attention!
Donna,
She's adorable! Who can resist a sales pitch like that?! Now come on over to my latest post and check out Brian Brady's daughter's pitch!
Mike in Tucson
Too funny. I wonder if my 11 and 12 year olds would mind wearing a tshirt with mortgage information.
Kathleen, I think it would work wonders seeing the advertising in multiples. The girl who threw my shower made it. She bought the ironing paper, printed out the designs, and ironed them on.
Jim, Exactly!
Rita, That sounds cute!
Steve, Now I want to make more!
Kate, You have a point!
Craig, Thanks!
Jenny, Yes, she's selling me her cup of "white milk", though she doens't know that milk comes in other colors.
Richard, Maybe only if I made her sleep in PJs with marketing too!! HA HA
Cynthia, That's what I'm sayin'!
Evelyn, I should do that for my husband!
Mike, Thanks, and I'll check out your blog next.
John, Why not? Kids love t-shirts! BUt you could also get pens and pencils with your info, and they can use them at school and the teachers see them.
