Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Sweet Sunday - When you can't decide...

Sweet Sunday - When you can't decide...

When you can't decide, use both!!

cupcakes

swirl chocolate and vanilla cake

I love chocolate, my husband loves vanilla, and Alyssa doesn't care for cake, so she had no opinion either way.  For the people who like one or the other, I made cupcakes with plain chocolate and plain vanilla.

I then took the remaining batter and made swirl cupcakes, which left me enough for an entire cake as well!  Everyone got what they wanted.

YUMMY!!

I'm willing to try one of each!  All this holiday cooking is already killing my willpower.

Decisions, Decions, how about one of each

Ann, When you only eat the cake part and skip the icing, the calories don't count!

Jared, I guess it's a good thing I didn't post the pictures with the icing!

Michelle, Double chocolate!

Joseph, Or just eat a mixed one!

Oh Donna, cupcakes and swirl cake, you have to invite me over. Those all look so tasty. I'll eat Alyssa's portion if she doesn't want her fair share. BTW, congrats on crossing another milestone 600K with your blog. WooHoo!!!

Taylor, It did turn out pretty, didn't it?  At first, I thought I messed it up, and that it would all combine into a light brown, but they stayed separate.

Gary, It's only about a 4 hour drive from Flower Mound!  I have half the cake in the freezer as Mike was eating it too fast! And thanks about the 600k.

Donna, so many choices and they all look yummmmmm.  I try and stay away from baking 'cause my willpower is shot.

Good idea!  I'm more for chocolate, but I'd love to have both!  :)

Sincerely,

Kathleen

Alyssa doesn't like cake?!  Oh my!  I remember marble being my favorite as a kid.  I think because it was a rare find, not that it was any better.  I only passed my glucose test by a point so I'm having to watch my sugar for the rest of the pregnancy...thankfully just another month...and what a month to not eat sugar!

Leah, My husband usually bakes as I don't want them in the house, but this was a special occasion.

Kathleen, Double the fun!

John, Good!

Aja, Nope, she doesn't like it. I've tried all different flavors. She just started eating cookies, but she'll only take a couple of bites. She loves rice krispies though, which is why that was her bday cake.
