'Tis the Season... My mom came into town this week to help Alyssa celebrate Hanukkah. I really don't know what Alyssa liked better, the candles or the presents.
When she turned two last month, that was the first time she really tried to open presents. I think she figured it out because when her Hanukkah presents were put in front of her, she gave it her all!!
This Kitchen is a HUGE pain to put together!! I did it myself, and I will warn you, do NOT try to follow the actual directions that came with it. It will take you twice as long. Just look at the pictures and use common sense, and you'll put it together very quickly.
She is loving putting things in the oven and microwave and pantry as well as in her shopping cart and shopping around the house... I showed her how to play pretend with the food pieces and she's got the hang of it, except she keeps trying to bite the hotdog!
So darn cute...

She's very cute.
Hi Donna... LOL, that box is bigger than she is! It looks like she's was enjoying the unwrapping experience! HAPPY HANUKKAH!
So cute! Opening presents always seem to be the most fun part.
Donna ---- Alyssa is adorable -- I loooooove to watch little ones open presents and just see the look of excitement.
Happy Holidays
Donna - Looks like she's all set up for business.... Hope you have had a happy hannukah...
Presents are the best indeed.... lol
Your daughter is SO CUTE! Looks like she is loving the gift Donna. :)
Wish I could experience the magic that we had when we were children. She is just beautiful.
Alyssa is adorable! Love her hair. I bet she's cooking up some yummy food.
Donna, how sweet! My grandson is 2, and I think we will have lots of fun watching him open gifts this time around! Kids and holidays just go hand in hand, don't they.
She is beautiful!
I'm alot older than your darling girl, and I STILL love opening presents! LOL Very cute!
Debi

Debi, There's a kid in all of us!
Kids LOVE those little kitchen playsets. My kids would spend hours making food and taking orders.
Hi Donna, Well this is so cute and memorable. Imagine when she grows up and gets to see these. Children are great pretenders. And thank God for that , imagine if they wanted to play with the real things, :-). Flour all over the floor, food everywhere and the stove set at 900 degrees, so the imaginary cake bakes faster, lol. More is always better for kids. True for adults as well under most circmstances, :)
Happy Hannuka and All my Best Wishes for a Wonderful Holiday to you and whole family.
Looks like Alyssa got some great presents! I bought a shopping cart with plastic food for my kids, they seem to love to pretend that they are cooking, shopping or doing anything they see us do. Can't wait until Christmas, I bet I'm more excited than they are to watch them open up their gifts!
Sincerely,
Kathleen
It gets better every year as they understand more and more. The gifts also get harder and harder to dis-attach from the packaging- so beware.
