So far, today has been the best birthday ever!!! I don't even care that I'm another year older though I did kinda freak out when I saw the screen. I was like, What? The computers automatically recalculate at midnight? But I got over it very quickly when the images popped up!

And you won't believe this. I scheduled the very first appt of the morning so no one would be running late and I could get on with the day... Not only was the tech late, but I got a tech in training!! I guess it was good because he was focusing on images longer and kept going back and forth and didn't rush anything where as the regular tech might have rushed through things...

And I think the baby will be tall. The femer (the leg) measured at 21 weeks, yet I'm actually only 20 weeks 2 days... I got back at 10am for all the results to be explained to me.
Ok, enough suspense... IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Thanks everyone!! I'm so excited... and yes, this is my first! It turns out that my husband has NOT been jotting down names for discussion, so that will take a while to figure out. He also let me know this morning that he didn't like the paint choices, but he didn't understand the colors. He thought I wanted the darker shades on the swatches, not realizing that he needed to look at the lighter shades... So, though I had plans to buy paint today, that has been put on hold until we can figure out the colors. They will be either:
Pink and Green
Pink and Lavender
Lavender and Green

Plus, I just received a call a little bit ago saying that not all the images saved correctly, and they want me to come back next Wednesday morning for a FREE sonogram!! Another chance to see the baby! The doctor said today was my last time until she was born, but looks like she's as stubburn as me and wants to break the rules!! I invited my mom to go with me, so she is VERY excited!!

Planning the nursery is harder than anticpated... my husband, who is not gnerally a "visual" person, wants to actually see some finished rooms with the different color selections... so, if anyone has one of their kids' or grand kids' rooms painted, could you please email me some pictures!? Here's an update for ya... she kicked and kicked for about 2 hours last night so I couldn't fall asleep. Then, I was at a listing appt and she made me pass out again!! We were taking a tour of the house, and when we got to the kitchen, I asked for some water. They kindly abliged. As we continued to walk, all three of us cramped inside the secondary bathroom, and all of a sudden I got very overheated, started sweating, couldn't really hear what he was saying, ringing in my ears, blurred vision, and said, "This is really embarrassing, but I need to sit down." Of course, the only nearby seat was the tiolet. Mrs. Seller ran and got me a wet washcloth for my neck and Mr. Seller went to get my water from the kitchen. We then continued to talk about updates in the house while sitting on the toilet!! (this will become a blog!) Then, after a few minutes, we continued, and in each room we walked to, they made me sit down, and they opened the closet doors and such for me... they were very sweet about it, but I think BabyHarris was upset that I missed her lunch time because the appt was running long.
