What is your Klout? Do you know? I thought my Klout was strong...
At Raincamp Dallas TX 2010, one of the tools we learned about was Klout.com. Your Klout score can range from 1-100 and it uses your Twitter username to look you up. It's a calculation of someone's sphere of influence and how much interaction there is between you and your followers on Twitter.
Yikes... I'm not following many people, but I have a lot of followers. I thought this was a good strategy because I didn't want to try to follow too many conversations at once. Well, my Klout score is a 10. Yes, only TEN!
I have started adding new people to follow, and I'll be sure to start participating in conversation more, and let's see if I can get to a 25 by the end of the month!

I'm not any better. Mine's 13 but I seriously don't have time in growing this score.
Donna I re-blogged this....there are auto blog feeds at the bottom of our AR profiles. I tweet my blogs and I have a 11....I need to do more.

I don't even want to look. I'm like Karen, have not gotten into that area yet, still have work to do elsewhere, but we'll see . . .
I rarely use Twitter so mine was only a 7. Time to get on the ball? I think I'll take a look at this when I get a few minutes. I prefer Facebook as that has gotten me client after client and referral after referral.
I thought that was very interesting also Donna but I am far lower from a 25...

Thanks for telling us about Klout. I didn't know about it. So I checked. I don't do hardly anything on Twitter so I wasn't surprised that my score was 5 - I think I've got the lowest score here.
I hear ya, but I use them differently. Don't want to fill up my FB friends news feed with 10 Twitter updates a day. Know what I mean?
Donna - Mines currently at 0 since I don't have a twitter account yet. I'm still trying to find the balance with blogging, so it's baby steps for me....
Hi Donna - Mine is only 12, but I haven't been on Twitter too much in the last few months and don't auto-tweet my AR posts. For comparison, Jeff Turner's Klout was 60.

I was curious about this Klout thing also. My score was 25 on Wednesday.
Donna - Your score is better than mine is! It was only a 6 and definitely shows my lack of interaction on Twitter.

Donna - I hadn't actually looked at Klout in awhile, but hearing what Ben had to say about it at Raincamp made me curious again. I am at 61 there right now.

I havent figured out twitter yet, I signed up but haven't spent any time there. Too many social media outlets, so little time. Thanks for the tip.

I just re-signed up with twitter on Friday. Twitter seems less fun to me than facebook. LinkedIn is even more of a puzzle. I'd love to find more people on Twitter. If you are not careful, these social sites will suck up all your time. I think I might need a type of FACEBOOK addiction program soon.

Ok I checked it out and maybe I should have played the lottery today - my score was "9". I only tweet my ActiveRain blogs, occasional real estate related things, and check in when I am bored. Anybody I want to interact with I most likely already know their phone number and e-mail, so ....

I came across Klout for the first time today -- had to register, so I'll get my score later -- scared to see it!!!
Ok - so let me revise my statement. After the FULL analysis I was a whopping - - - - - - -- 10. LOL. And it gave me this statement:

O.K., I signed up but, I don't expect much since I don't tweeter much. I did start out following and asking for people to follow me but I pay no attention to what they say and pretty much expect those that follow me to have hit the mute button.
I got a 7-oh well something else to add to the do to list.

Why is everyong registering on the site and waiting for calculations? All I did was enter my twitter username at the top of the screen and the score came right back... no registering for anything...
