Since Lake Travis in Austin TX was very low for several months, now that we've gotten rain, look at what has washed into the water.
It's not all over, mainly at the Jonestown section of Lake Travis. Even my daughter pointed at it and said, "icky!"

* Speechless Sunday - Lake Travis is a little dirty... * was first published on donnahomesblog.com

Hey Donna, what is it...exactly? Moss? It looks kind of brown in the picture! Have a good day!
Bob, It's actually just dirt, sand, and twigs. No moss.
Donna ---- hey, at least you have water, now.

It does look pretty icky. But it is good to have water, hopefully it will be full to the brim in the next few months.
Liz, Yes, that's a good thing!
Janna, It's already above "Average" and it hasn't been here in over 2 years.
Donna we live at Canyon Lake and the lake looks much like Travis. It will take a few weeks for things to settle to the bottom. Still some ugly rubbish coming in from the river. Canyon Lake is almost full again and all the boat ramps are open. Yhea!
Hi Donna,
Some of the floating debris looks organic...might be good, as a fish haven !!?? Might be part of a natural cycle of life ..falling to the bottom and being positive
As long as there is No pollutants of any kind
All will be better in a short time
Right now, it looks ..well you know (bad) different
Thanks
Donna,
Lets hope you guys get more rain then last year, and that the lakes are up and look better then this picture.
Donna,
This is a great shot of some nice scenery. I did not catch where you took these photos. Thanks for sharing. where is lake Travis?
C & C, I'm not sure I want all that at the bottom either!
Robert, Maybe it'll all float to the sides...
Richard, They're above average right now, so far so good!
Sonny, Austin.
