Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: BabyHarris2 Update - Week 17

BabyHarris2 Update - Week 17

BabyHarris2 update. This is week 17. My fingers have been crossed that all the previous complications I went through are now long behind me and the rest of the 23 weeks will be drama-free.

At week 17, I now have some energy back. I'm not running marathons or anything, but I'm not sleeping on the couch at 2 in the afternoon either. The baby should be about 5 inches long. That's a little smaller than my open hand.

Thus far, it looks like I'm off the track of gaining 60+ pounds like with Alyssa. At this point with Alyssa, I had already gained 11 pounds. This time, I've only gained 2 pounds thus far.  My knees are happy about that!

I'm now two weeks away from finding out if it's a boy or girl. Healthy is really the only main concern, but it's always nice to stock up on clearance clothes at the end of the season if I get the chance.  With that, there is still time to guess in the guessing game, so click here. With Alyssa, I had over 50 guesses, but this time, no one wants to guess and I have only about 10. Come on people, it takes 10 seconds to click the link and enter your guess.

Week 18, here I come!

This one slipped through the cracks!  You sound like me - I gained 60 with my first and only 25 with my second!  Congrats Donna!  I need to go click on that link ;)

Your brother must like to torture you - a 10 pound baby?  LOL!

Renee, He also wants to torture me by thinking I'm going to be 3 weeks late!  But honestly, I was 9 lbs 6 oz when I was born, so I expected Alyssa to be a big baby too, especially with the massive weight gain, but she was only 7 lbs 4oz.

Donna, I clicked the link, I haven't put in my guess yet, but it cracks me up.  Not just name and gender, down to time of birth, date and weight and length.  I am going to give it some thought, haha.  I gained 50 lbs with my 1st daughter, 60 with my second, it was miserable.  It was a painful experience, haha, but she was a chubby baby, too.

I was wondering if he had some "insider information!!"  I guess using the date he put as a gauge I may have lost that one ;)

Rita, Ahh, but the guesses are just for fun...

Renee, You can tell from my guess what I'm hoping for. A nice Saturday delivery, and back to work Monday morning! LOL... that and my doctor is not in town on the Thursday or Friday!

My son looked almost like he was wrapped in bones when he was born. Tiny, just tiny, but what would you expect out of me. Both my husband and I are not tall and these days, my son is being measured against the American chart. Poor baby!

I'm glad things are going fine for you. It's always nice to read about where you're at without necessarily emailing you to know things are okay.

Keep us posted.

PS: I havent guessed yet coz I cant "feel" how it's going to be.

This is even better than when you posted the chronology of your new home being built!!!

So glad everything is progressing along smoothly for you and your baby.

Loreena, You could always flip a coin!

Craig, And I need to finish the saga of the house and out the crummy builder who tried to build it...

Donna - I see you're like me and would love to have the baby at the most convenient time, but I had to put my birthday as the due date, sorry.

Posted by Michelle Gibson, REALTOR (Hansen Real Estate Group Inc. ) about 8 years ago

Donna, I didn't realize you are due with number 2.  So when is your due date?  Will you have about 3 years between?

Posted by Marchel Peterson, Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro (Results Realty) about 8 years ago

Hi Donna, I had no idea you are pregnant! Congratulations and I'm glad things are going well now :)

Good luck with your pregnancy Donna. I am pulling for you that it will go well.

Michelle, I don't mind the date, but wonder why everyone wants me to have a BOY!?

Marchel, Almost exactly 3 years... Due date is listed on the game, go take a look and make a guess!

Jackie, Thanks!

Gary, Thanks so much!

I didn't mean to say September! Sorry! I didn't mean to mess this up for you! But I am feeling it's going to be a girl for you!

Donna, I was aiming for three years between my two but there's 3 years 5 months.  I found that to be a good space between.  We ended up holding our son for kindergarten so I ended up with 4 years between school which was nice for college.

Marchel, I wanted a Feb baby which would have put us just past 3 years, but not all plans work out...
