Lake Pointe - Austin Bee Cave TX - Homes for Sale statistics tell the story. The below chart shows you the currently active properties on the left and the properties that have sold second quarter on the right. The ones that dip out of order in the middle are currently contract pending.
As you can see, there was a lot of activity in Lake Pointe Austin TX this second quarter of 2010. I'm sure the tax credit had some to do with that. But overall, I feel the pricing had a lot to do with it. Last year, Lake Pointe pricing was all over the board. As you can see from the above chart, there is still a wide range of prices, but they're in line with the community and the solds.
There are a few blue dots on the left of the current activity that shows you're always going to have seller who feel they need to overprice their homes so they'll sit there longer, but overall, according to the solds, the blue dots are averaging below 60 days on the market, which is awesome news for the neighborhood!
And according to the above chart, the home owners are getting on board with the activity as there are several new listings on the market.
