Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Alyssa's Artwork from Michaels Arts and Crafts

Alyssa's Artwork from Michaels Arts and Crafts

Michaels Arts and Crafts held a very cool demo workshop today. It was Big Sister and Big Brother art class to make a project to welcome home the new baby.  We made two canvases with our hand prints as fish. Alyssa had a blast! It looked like so much fun, I decided to make one with a big mommy fish and we'll put the pictures on the wall like a two piece mural.

Michaels had projects all week as it was Baby Week, but I didn't know until yesterday so we missed out on a lot of cool projects. Did you know they even do Birthday Parties?  Guess what my mind is thinking for Alyssa's birthday this year??

Really cool. Michaels is a great place to express yourself. Don't forget to write the date on the back.

That is a great project...and a great way to remember how little her hands once were when she gets older!

Ellie, Thanks for reminding me to write a date!

Robert, Thanks!

Jeanna, Morning would have been nice, but this was during nap time, so it was touch and go a couple of times...

Loreena, Yep!

Holly, And how my hand looks silly as a fish!

It looks like Alyssa has an eye and the hands for art.

Good luck and success.

Oh, so cute!  Something to really be proud of too.  I'll have to head over there and see what they've got going.
