As you know, Austin TX ranks high on many many surveys that have been done in the past. Surveys about Best Place to Raise a Family and Best in Recession Recovery and Lowest Unemployment Rate, to name a few...
Here's a survey just released by Men's Health magazine that puts Austin TX at the top of another list, and you won't believe it...
Austin TX is the Capital of Copulation. Yes, Austin TX has been named the most sexually active city in the country with Dallas right behind as #2.
You might be thinking, Huh? How could they possibly know something like this?
According to the study, they went off of condom sales, birth rates, sex toy sales, and the rates of STD's. Not sure if I agree with their methods of tracked information as there are too many people who don't use or get any of the aforementioned things above, but I'm sure there is some kind of calculation that takes it all into account.
And it gets better... Texas has 7 of the top 15 spots!! I guess we're trying to move from the second largest state to the largest by population!!

I have bee trying to think of a clever yet tasteful response to your post about Austin's newest top ranking. Despite my best effort, I can think of none. Perhaps Austin will get its own TV show as a sequel to Californification.
Rugg, It's hard to say something funny, yet stay PC on this topic...
I've always wanted to visit Texas. I guess that's one more reason to visit.
I dunno, Donna, but you guys seem to be doing your part to keep up the stats - at least in the birth rate department!
