Speechless Sunday - Alyssa Bakes her First Cookies

Alyssa made cookies for the very first time... and my first time in over 10+ years!  She had fun mixing all the ingredients and watching the mixer spin, but I think eating the batter was her favorite part of it all!

She was very patient watching the first batch cook... but not so patient the rest of the batches as she didn't understand why I had to keep checking on them and making more.

Awwww....she is so cute.  My son loves to bake sugar cookies.  He also makes me get edible paints and sparkles so we can get creative :)

She sure has grown so much. My sister recently had her 2nd baby almost 4 weeks ago. The little baby, so tiny reminded me how far Boomer has come and I know Alyssa is just a few weeks younger than him.....

What an awesome post! Maybe she can bake some for you when you are at the hospital.

How fun for both of you! I used to love making cookies with my mom! I think we should do it again. I bet we would have fun even all these years later! The cookies look yummy!

My favorite cookies when I was young to bake were oatmeal cookies. But like Alyssa, I liked the batter best!

Donna: The best part is licking the bowl and beaters. Our boys use to help Ceil, as for me, I just ate the cookies.
