Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: City of Lakeway TX - Lakeway City Park - Halloween Goblin Glow

City of Lakeway TX - Lakeway City Park - Halloween Goblin Glow

Every year, the City of Lakeway TX holds their FREE, annual Halloween Goblin Glow at the Lakeway City Park on Hurst Creek. This year was no exception...

It was a lot of fun for the kiddos. They got to trick or treat at each of the hot-air balloons, there was a booth for face painting and balloon animals, and even a little haunted area where they could reach into a box and feel what's inside.

The live music was provided by a local band from Westlake High School.

And Alyssa was a hit with the younger crowd. A couple of kids even had their pictures taken with her as she was Elmo!  Maybe she should have charged to have her picture taken!!

Here are some pictures of the balloons all lit up in the sky...

Stephanie, It was fun, and Alyssa crashed as soon as we got home since it was well past her bedtime.

DONNA! You should post about Hamilton's Pool!  I went there in the early 70's  **GRIN** it was amazing then, as I am sure it still is now!

I was wondering where the city was that you lived in and Googled it and notices Hamilton's Pool Road.

I have some pictures of my little girl now a 37 year old nurse having a blast...and yes there were some naked people there but it was the 70's!

I am going to see if I can dig one up and post it for you to see. I understand that now they have stairs going down into the springs.... back then we had to scale down....we Texans ... aren't we special!!!

Sussie, Hamilton Pool is about 15 minutes from me. We've tried to go 4 times and each time, they are closed. You're allowed to walk down to the spring, but you can't get near the water. No point in going if you can't swim, so still have never experienced it. Hippie Hollow is where you're allowed to be nekkid, not Hamilton Pool!

Sure looks like this event was a great time.  Beautiful balloons.  Great for kids of all ages.

Hi Donna... where was the ReMax balloon?  Looks like a missed marketing opportunity to me.  :)
