Wordless Wednesday - First Taste of Food

Experts say that if a baby watches you so intently while you're eating, that they're ready to try... so yesterday I decided to let Landon try some rice cereal.  Here are his various facial expressions:

He is just as handsome as can be!! :-)  He looks as if he's really starting to enjoy it towards the end.  Congratulations on him, by the way!!

HI Donna,

The pictures of Landon tasting food for the first time are adorable! I like the way he looks in the first picture on the right where he isn't quite sure he knows whats going on, but as he gets a swallow, in the end he decided rice cereal is OKAY!

Thanks for sharing this fun moment!...

Leigh, Thanks!  I don't think he got much of anything past his tongue spitting it all back out!!

Judi, I' not sure if he's smiling because he liked it or smiling because I was trying to clean it all off his chin and face and it tickled...

Looks a lot like some of the faces I make.

And why does he have more hair than I do?

Such a cutie.  Some of my best photos of my kids is when they were eating as toddlers.  I love catching their unique facial expressions.

Donna, he might have looked a bunch happier if you'd given him sushi or something!  Rice cereal?

I never got notices that people commented, so I apologize for not responding.  Yes, it's Rice Cereal as that's the first thing they're supposed to try as it's one grain and easier on the stomach than other foods right now... plus, he's not supposed to eat until he's 4 months, but he just looked so darn hungry!

I've given him cereal 3 times now. The last time, he took my spoon and shoved it in his mouth and started chewing on it.  I got it on video. I should post it.
