Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: ActiveRain RainCamp Dallas 2011 at CityPlace

ActiveRain RainCamp Dallas 2011 at CityPlace

Raincamp Dallas 2011 is in full swing. Today is day two at CityPlace.  We had lunch up on the 42nd floor again, but this year it was extremely hazey.

Yesterday, we learned a lot, but it was also a lot of review stuff that was already known, at least by me...

Two big things learned was that ActiveRain has huge Domain Dominance. has 2.6 times more linkage than  That's huge!!  Why would I want to pay those ridiculous fees that wants to charge us.

The other thing I learned was that Greg Nino really has no style. He wore black socks with brown shoes.  Who dressed him in the morning??  This is as bad as wearing a black belt with brown shoes!!

Ok, so I learned other things too,  but more to come today...

Donna - What's wrong with black socks with brown shoes???    Maybe I should start a new group on AR for us fashion challenged members.

Now we know that the haze was just a forewarning for all the thundering the evening brought. I thought day 2 went super well but I totally missed Greg's socks. Your particpation on the blog panel was good.

I also thought the market presence information was impressive.

Do you think that Greg may have been functioning on a different timezone or dressing in the dark? :)

Hi Donna, I suspected Greg might have bad taste in socks, thanks for the confirmation.  Other than that, he is perfect!

AR gets more backlinks than  I have always thought that is a ripoff.

And what in the world led you to believe Nino had any taste in the first place! He probably dresses better in Houston, 'cause his wife lays out his clothes there...

Could the haze and all those new Texas jobs possibly be related?
