Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Do You Burp Your Tupperware?

Do You Burp Your Tupperware?

Do you burp your Tupperware? I had dinner with my mom this evening, and she'stupperware packing up the leftovers and gets upset because she can't burp the tupperware. I'm like, "What's your problem?" and I easily close the container. She says, "Now burp it."

Sorry, but I have an 8 1/2 month old baby, and I only burp him... why would I burp food? I don't get it.  My step dad says it's common knowledge to burp Tupperware, or any plastic container.  If it's common knowledge, and I have a lot of common sense, why didn't I know to burp my food??

Did you know?

You are showing that you are domestically challenged, but you don't need Tupperware to sell a house. Hang in there.

Yes I do burp my tupperware.  I doubt that it really makes much difference though. I guess it's just a habit now.

It's amazing the broad range of skills needed to survive in today's world. Does burping Tupperware deplete the ozone layer?

Ok.No idea what "burping" plastic containers means. Maybe it's an age thing?

Donna, I definitely burp the Tupperware.  Not sure where I picked it up but it's stuck with me.  I even burp the margarine container every time I get into it just out of habit.

Donna - You most certainly have to burp Tupperware.  I guess someone told me this a long time ago.

Burping your Tupperware? That's a new one for me.

Good luck and success.

I was in 3rd grade and I still remember us kids doing this in school after our lunch.  We never understood it then, but that is what we were to do.

Well I guess I am in the same boat as you. Not only do I not burp my Tupperware, I have no idea how to. Guess I am domestically challenged as well - good thing you don't need it to sell houses well :-)!
