Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Austin TX Weather - Breaking a Triple Digit Record - Day 67

Austin TX Weather - Breaking a Triple Digit Record - Day 67

Yes, it was another scorcher... today was day 67 of triple digits.  Austin TX weather officially moved into the third position after a tie of 66 days of triple numbers yesterday.  And yes, there is a record of 68 days from 2009, so tomorrow would just be another tie as we move into second place...

I was up in Dallas this weekend, where it was just as hot. Watching their news reminded me of their #2 ranking of 56 days of triple digits. That was the year I graduated college, 1998, and it was so miserable going to interviews in suits and hose.  The night before a call-back interview, my battery in my car died. I had to stay the night at my mom's house so I could take her car to the interview and worry about the battery in my car later.

And that was ONLY 56 days over 100...

Stay tuned!!

It was only 102 degrees here in Dallas today. "Only." A cold front compared to what it's been lately.

Hi Donna,  Living in Scottsdale I feel your pain. I am ready for the weather to start cooling down. We are in record breaking heat here we are only half way through the hottest months. I just keep looking forward to the weather when everyone else is freezing and we are still warm. I would take that any day!
