Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: 85 Days in Triple Temps - Summer is Now Officially Over in Austin TX

85 Days in Triple Temps - Summer is Now Officially Over in Austin TX

I think Summer is now officially over in austin tx weather droughtAustin TX.  We had 85 days in triple digits!! The old record was 69 days, and we didn't just break it, we smashed it!! And today was in the mid 90's. The rest of the week shows the temperatures going down to the low 90's.  It's still hot here in Austin, but it's not 100 degrees anymore!

That is a record that I never want to come close to again!  Rain teased us all day, but it never did actually rain where I was today.  40% chance of rain tomorrow, and we're all doing Rain Dances to make it happen!

Phew. Quite a streak. Keller Williams are all arriving in Austin this week for "Mega Camp" so I am sure they are glad for the drop.

It has been unusually miserable here in our neck of the woods, but I am so Thankful that we are getting a bit of a reprieve over the last couple of days.  We had a bit of rain and now the humidity is miserable.

Well too hot? plan on visiting Orange County CA, you will like it. Today it was 70 tomorrow onwards ... 80, 83, 81, 78, 77. We are miserable when it is more than 85.

We are having small shakers for last few nights, my koi and puppy goes crazy when there is jolt.

It has been a summer that all of Texas will not forget.  Here's to some nice cooler days.

My daughter just went to the park in long pants and a sweatshirt, "because it's Fall"... it's hot and humid out, but it's not 100 degrees, so she thinks it's cold!

We actually got a good steady medium rain last night from 3 am to about 8 a.m. I was so glad my grass looks awful!

Donna it looks like Texas got all the heat and we got all the rain this summer. I would gladly trade some rain for some heat if i could. Last night was the coldest night of the year since last winter, it got down to 33 degrees and there was spotty frost. We wont see 90 until maybe next May or June at this point. Have a great Monday
