As many of you are keeping track of, Alyssa was born on November 16. Today is December 16, which makes her 1 month old today. To be exact, she is 4 weeks and 2 days old... I can't believe it's only been a month. In so many ways, it seems like so much longer.
She has definitely had a hard day. It started out posing for pictures in which, you can see from the photo where she's propping her head up, she got a little borded... Then, she had to get ready for the big game so on goes the Cowboy's outfit. She got up in Daddy's chair to claim her spot, but not realizing the game wasn't for a few hours, she entertained herself in the bouncer for a while before taking a nap.
Then, like most big events, she needed to have another outfit change to pose for more pictures!! The game still hasn't started yet and she's taking another nap with the hopes of being able to watch the Cowboys kick those Eagle tushes.
She's getting SOOOO big!!

Happy Birthday BABY! Happy mom's day Ms. Donna! Whew are you sleeping yet? I love her lamb! I remember those from long long ago mine was a reindeer!
Cindy, Wrong team?? You're funny!! She also has a few Longhorn outfits handed down from a friend, so she'll wear those starting next season.
Linda, Thank you!! Don't forget this picture from when she was "only" 6 days old...
Chris, Thanks!
Doris, I have gotten a little sleep that last 2 nights. Two nights ago, she slept through her 1am sleeping, and when I woke up at 4:30am, I was so excited!! I felt so rejuvenated!! Her Great Uncle got her the lamb. It's so soft!
Hi Donna,
AWE!!!!! How really sweet they are at that age. I remember my little girl when she was that little! May you have a very Merry First Christmas Alyssa!
Lisa, Thank you. And, yes, very sweet... except around 3-5am when I rather be sleeping!
Missy, It's a onesie, but yes, it's the Cowboys... hasn't really helped yet today as it's 10-6 Eagles with about 4 minutes to go, but she's cheering her heart out!!
Not sure Donna but I bet she would look even cuter with a Silver and Black onsie.
My beautiful grandaughter. She's 14 months old and started out life just 2 lbs 6 oz. My first grandchild. I cant wait till christmas when her and my daughter will fly in from Wa. state to spend some time with grandpa.
....the cowboys lost :(
But I'm not worried, superbowl here we come. Go Boyz
Jen, Thanks! And just for the record, if the chair didn't go with my furniture, it would have been on Craigslist when we moved into this house and got married!
Jason, What an age range there... hopefully, once we get past the next couple of weeks and she can give up one of her middle of the night feedings, it'll all be a forgotten memory of sleep deprivation. The Cowboy outfits are courtesy of her Uncle Erick who now lives in the DC area and counts the days when he can return to Dallas. (and of course, keep me in mind if your mom ever needs to buy or sell *wink wink*)
Stephen and Chris, Yes, they lost, but she was sound asleep and didn't even notice. I wonder who they'll play in the Superbowl...
Rich, Thank you very much! She's gearing up for the premier of 24 next month!
Jason, Everyone has a bad day every once in a while. Maybe if they ban Jessica Simpson from the game, he's head will be in the game and not on impressing her!!
Toni, Thank you, that's so very nice of you!
Happy Holidays, Everyone!!
