Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Austin TX - America's Fastest Growing City Third Year in a Row- Forbes

Austin TX - America's Fastest Growing City Third Year in a Row- Forbes

Austin tops Forbes' list of America's Fastest Growing Cities for the THIRD year in a row!! Amazing!!  We're definitely seeing all the growth as more and more neighborhoods are starting as other neighborhoods are in close-out and the builders need to stay busy.  The area is growing so much that some areas that were once considered "rural" are losing their USDA 0% down payment elegibility in March because they are not "rural" anymore. They're just part of the Austin "sprawl" as many like to call it. is ranked First, Houston is ranked Second, and Dallas is ranks Third.  I think Texas is dominating the country in relocation into the state, especially since San Antonio ranks Ninth, which is 4 huge Texas cities ranked in the Top 10.

Who could blame people for wanting to relocate here to Austin TX? We have a 4.9% unemployment rate! That's low! We have a 1.2% vacancy rate on rentals, which means those who aren't buying are having a hard time finding a place to rent, and inventory is low on the resale market, which is creating a Supply and Demand issue around town.

Some people think Austin is just a college town, but it's not. We have large companies such as Dell, Whole Foods, Samsung, Apple, National Instruments, Google, Facebook, and many more. These are large employers bringing people to town.

If you need help with your relocation to Austin TX, or you're already in town and looking to buy or sell, please contact me today as that house you want to buy might not be on the market tomorrow. If you're selling, there's someone who wants to buy your house yesterday!!

Have an excellent weekend Donna. It's a wonderful time to show off real estate as many properties are beginning to shine a little more now that Spring's approaching.

Austin Rocks! Cooper Jacobs trusts that all your real estate activity is going well. We wish you the best. Thank you

I would move to Austin a heartbeat, especially today as we endure 20 degree weather. It's a great City that is not too big and not too small. I can't wait for Mega Camp to head back.

Donna, Austin's growth is understandable.  You move there, and slowly but surely the entire country follows you.  Such magnetism.  :)
