Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Jason Kidd is Officially a Dallas Maverick Again

Jason Kidd is Officially a Dallas Maverick Again

Jason Kidd's first stint with the Dallas Mavericks lasted three seasons. Jason Kidd was previously with the Dallas Mavericks in 1994 where he played a couple of years before being traded to Phoenix.  It seems like we trade everyone to Phoenix as that's also where Nash went.

There are many things involved with this trade, and I could possibly explain it all, but the main thing is that we get Kidd, Malik Allen, and Antoine Wright.  We also gave up a couple of first round draft picks for next year.

Jason will be ready for today's 3pm practice and ready to start.

Stragely enough, I was  a HUGE Kidd fan back in the day. I'm so happy to see him come "home". He's got a lot of pressure on him - Dallas is watching and expecting BIG things!

Hi Donna:  This trade has taken almost two weeks to actually take place.  It has been something like fourteen years since Jason Kidd was a Maverick.  I sure wish he looked like the Jason Kidd in your picture above rather than the Jason Kidd of today.  Hopefully he will be a great help to the team.  Thanks for sharing.

I enjoy watching him play.  It should make things a little more exciting, especially with the addition of Shaq in Phoenix.

Kim, me too!

Karen, I know, he looks so grown up now and his son is a spitting image.

Randy, I think watching Phoenix should be interesting with Nash so little and Shaq so huge.
