Hi Donna--I used to live in a little house on Martel! Loved the M Streets. Back then (the '90s) I was a journalist slaving at the Morning News. I've traveled quite a distance since then (literally). Speaking of distance, that's some vast territory you cover. I thought I was doing well handling my little county in Central Oregon. What's your secret?

Lisa, The secret is living off of both a north/south highway and an east/west one, so it's fairly easy to get most anywhere these days.  I'm up in Richardson off 75 and George Bush (190). Wanna buy a condo for a rental for old time's sake?

Mike, the HOA dues are $198.86 a month for management, exterior maintainance, pool, gated entrances, water, sewer, trash, and more... This would be great for an investor, and could probably get $1250-1400 a month.  Maybe the current tenant would even stay, with enough notice to stop looking for a new place.

Terrie, Thanks!  I wish I took "before" pictures.  It's a tenant living here, so it was a little difficult getting her to pack her things so I could show and sell the "space" and not the pictures of her friends and all her other stuff. She was even impressed with the decluttering.

Joe, Our lots aren't typically that big to have a pool that size on a single family residence. People think that just because Texas is big that the properties are to, but they aren't... in 99% of the area.

Maureen, Thank you so much.  Yes, you can actually see the Fireplace now that the tenant finally agreed to remove all her personality from it.  I almost missed it when I first viewed the place because it didn't stand out.  It's definitely a focal point now.
