I ask you, does it get any better than this?

Posted by Jim Crawford, Jim Crawford Atlanta Best Listing Agents & REALTOR (Crye-Leike REALTORS®) over 10 years ago

Jim, Nope, it can't get any better!!  A nice cherry flavored slurpee on a hot Summer day.  I have slurpees once a year, and they happen to always be on the same day!

Donna,  Thanks for the free slurpee information, I'll be heading out at lunch to get mine.  I thought that you were kidding about this on your birthday post!  Happy Birthday, again.  Mike

Happy Birthday.  A friend of mine since Junior High has a birthday day today.  We always remember because of the fact its 7/11.  I'd probably forget if it were 7/12 or 7/10.

I just shared the 'Free Slurpee' information with my wife.  She'll probably take the kids this afternoon.  Thank you for sharing.

Happy B-Day to you!  Hope it is a good one.  Thanks for the tip about the slurpee.  Haven't had one in years, this is a good time to try them again.

Wow, to think they'd do that just for you. How neat. Enjoy your special day.

Yvonne, Warning, they're much more syrupy than you remembered.  I had to put over half in the freezer for later.

Steve, Yes, I have connections and can pull strings!!

Donna:  Happy Birthday!

I was just thinking about this today:  It is 7 11 day!

Unfortunately I don't drink slurpees.  No soft drinks, no artificial anything.  Alcohol is the only exception.  I'll celebrate my own way:  with a protein shake or a fresh juice.

Once a year won't kill you though.  Especially if you add a bit of alcohol to it...

Happy Birthday!

We don't have 7-elevens anymore in Houston. The last one I saw turned into a church.

I do recall enjoying those tasty smooth beverages when i was a kid. They give great brain freeze.

I didn't enjoy the coke one. I liked the red. It was hard to swallow becuase they were so darn thick.

I like slurpees. I think I'll drive to Dallas just to have one, then swing by Jack in the Crack for Free tacos on wednesday, say Hi to Barrack at your local city hall then go show one of your listings.

Have a great weekend Donna.

Happy Birthday Donna!  Wow, that's nice of them to let you celebrate in style! :)  Now, to find a 7-11 in Alabama....good luck with that one, darn it!

Posted by Elizabeth Cooper-Golden, Huntsville AL MLS (Huntsville Alabama Real Estate, (@ Homes Realty Group)) over 10 years ago

Donna, no 7-11 close by, I wrote corporate and they are mailing me a Slurpee, grin

Joe, I hope you found a 7-11.

Greg, you forgot about Chik-fil-a also giving a free combo if you dressed like a cow.  They've got some good chicken!

Renee, I was never the coke fan as they always tasted like coconut to me, blah... but I hope you enjoyed one yesterday.

Elizabeth, No 7-11 in Alabama either??  What is this world coming to?

Duane, You're better off going to the store and buying some syrup and pouring it over crushed ice for a snow cone.

Since there aren't any 7-11s in the Houston area... Have a Slurpee for me!!!

Posted by David Slavin, CDPE, ABR, SRES Keller Williams Premier (Keller Williams Premier) over 10 years ago

Donna, LOL, I agree, most likely the Slurpee won't make the trip in the mail, grin.

Posted by * Rate A Home (Rate A Home) over 10 years ago

David, Too bad... I'll think of you when I take the other half out of the freezer later this weekend!

Duane, You'll have to get one the next time you're in an area with them.

Donna, we could have used some slurpees up here today!  I was so hot I'd have gladly paid for one!  Even a slurpee with just shaved ice to pour over my head!  And happy birthday!
