Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Turning 30 today!

Turning 30 today!

Most people don't like turning 30... so far, it's not so bad. Seven of my friends and I had a party back in May to all celebrate turning 30 this year, so maybe I was prepared for it better than most...

But I must admit, I almost didn't want to go to sleep last night because I knew I would wake up a year older. Funny thing is, since I was born in Germany, I would have been 30 yesterday if I was still there... I had an extra day of being in my 20's.

Anyway, I thought I would celebrate by revisiting some of my other birthdays.
Here is my 3rd birthday:             Here is my 4th birthday:

Here is my 18th Birthday:

And here is my 21st Birthday:

Aren't I cute?? This was also the first time that I had ever had cake in my face! I can't say that I cared for it very much... My mom called asking where the 18th bday picture was taken as she doesn't have that one. I reminded her of my friends that took me to the strip club that wonderful Monday evening, and she remembers now as she found those pictures about 3 years later... how embarassing!!

I have waited for years to get out of the "you're so young" age category.... but now I'm not so sure I like the sound of 30...  maybe it'll scare less clients away...

Happy Birthday Donna - the 30's are great - and remember age is only a number.  Many of my friends are in there 40s and 50s and 60s - its not older just wiser :-)  Kelly

As said by the others Donna and I must concur...Happy Birthday. Man, 30, that would nice to drop back to the age again. I know you're feeling a bit like an antique Donna, but must wait a other 20 years... :-) Stan

I echo the others as well...Happy Birthday Donna.  I'll be hitting one of those milestone numbers later this year myself.  The big "4-0".  Still don't feel a day over 25!  I hope you feel the same!!

Donna -

I don't know what to say. I wish your face wasn't covered on the 21 photo.

You've sprouted nicely. :)

I hope your day was as happy as you were in these photos.

Yes, it was a fun day... so much has happened in two years.  My face was covered because I was embarrassed, as that's what parents do.

Happy Birthday Donna.  Hope you had a great day celebrating yesterday.  I didn't mind turning 30 either but I really didn't like 33 this year.  I don't like the idea of my mid-30's.  That is terrible!!!  At least you have a few more years of your early 30s.  :-)

Linda, Greg bumped this post up, but if you look at the date, it's from 2006... I turned a couple of years older yesterday, but thanks!!  I understand the mid-30's thing...
