Can you see the image? Can you see her spinning?
Which way is she spinning? Is she spinning clockwise? If so, you are using your right brain.
Is she spinning counter clockwise? If so, you are using your left brain.
Stare at her for a couple of minutes. See if she'll change her direction. I can see her both ways which means I use both sides of my brain. My husband and mother can only see it going one way.
Here are some of the differences of left verse right brain:
Left: Logical, Sequential, Rational, Analytical, Objective, Looks at Parts
Right: Random, Intuitive, Holistic, Synthesizing, Subjective, Look at Wholes
Does the direction you see the girl fit you? Is it opposite you? Did you stare at it long enough to see if she would change direction?
Sometimes, when I look at her, she doesn't go in circles anymore as she changes directions so quickly, she's basically just moving back and forth.
I'm curious as to what others see.
If you can't see the image, go here and take a look:

Donna, I've seen this before, it goes both ways for me, I think I just have 1/2 a brain. I find it fascinating, who comes up with these things?
I'm right brained...totally right brained. Stared and stared at it and it wouldn't change direction.
Donna, It is very funny I see the figure spinning clock wise, and I know I'm right brained I am left handed (at least I draw and write left handed), But I also play all my sports right handed, and my penmanship is nearly as neat with either hand (but always draw left handed) go figure? Steve
She is asking for my phone number! Now what?!
So you didn't say---for those of us who can see her spinning in both directions, does that mean we are better than everyone else? (just kidding of course!)
That's pretty awesome. I can switch her back and forth. haha.
Rhonda, Thank you for stopping by (And please delete your advertising from your comment).
Peter, I also like the one where you can see either an old or a young lady in the picture.
Kelly, Are you left handed?
Steve, A lefty with good handwriting? Are you serious??
Larry, Dial it and see if she gave you the generic number you hand out when you don't want people to know your actual number. LOL
Pat, Of course we're better. I just didn't want to state the obvious!! ;)
Donna, as I looked at the image she started spinning in the right direction then I looked away and she started spinning in the left direction. I guess my logical side over road my intuitive side. I can also switch back and for by looking away and back again. I'm right handed.
Kyle, Yeah, I can do that on whim sometimes too, but usually I have to stare and stare and then look away and then it's moving the other direction.
Michael, I don't understand how it really works, but yes, it changes directions when I look away and look back as well. Doesn't do that at all for my husband or mother.
Donna, Left brain here. I have tried to get her to switch directions but it has not happened for me yet. I had trouble seeing those pointalism pictures at first in the earlier 90's.
Mine is changing back and forth, now what the heck does that mean ? If I look away and look back she goes in the opposite direction.
I could swear that I see it moving both ways. Originally I saw it moving counterclockwise. And I laughed pretty good when I read Larry's comment. Thanks for that Larry.
Jimmy, No worries, everyone sees something different. That's how the world goes round.
Missy, I see that too. It just means you use both sides of your brain. I consider that being a very well rounded person.
John, You very well could be, many people do. I wonder if Larry got a valid number.
I've seen this before. I make her go in either direction. All I have to do is look away, keep her in my peripheral vision and I can make her switch. Notice that depending on which ever way she is spinning determines which leg is raised up. I want to get someone to watch it with me at the same time to make sure it doesn't just switch randomly and I think it is me making it do it. I want to know how she raised a different leg if I can do it on my own. Shouldn't the raised leg stay the same, this is after all a computer image.
Gregory, I watched it at the exact same time as my husband and my mother and they were seeing something completely different than me. It was so eerie. Different leg and different direction.
Donna. Yeah, I hate you. When I first looked, she was going counter-clockwise. I read your text and rolled back up and she was spinning clockwise this time. Now I'm trying to get her to go back and I've officially gotten a migraine trying to get her to go back counterclockwise.
This'll cost you!
Leonard
Donna, this is tripping me out!!! When I first looked, she was going clockwise, then when I turned away for a minute and looked again - counter clockwise. Tried it a few times, same result.
Leonard, Take some Advil Liqui-Gels and decide when we're grabbing lunch again. This week is bad, and next Wednesday is bad, but I'm pretty open besides that.
Mike, It is freaky isn't it? I just don't understand why some people can't get it to change direction at all.
Donna,
I can make her go clockwise or counter clockwise. Sometimes I can make her wave just back and forth. I have always been good at those 3-D pictures too. I am a mother with 2 little boys, what can I say, I have special vision. Ha Ha!
Chris, I have those magic powers too, but they aren't complete yet. I understand I will get new powers every so often as my daughter gets older. Right now, I have the awesome power of leaping bounds across the room as I see her climb up on the furniture and then lean back a little too far and head head-first to the floor, but then caught in my arms... though I missed on Saturday and she has a quarter-sized bruise on her forehead as it was on the tile and not the carpet...
Donna,
what your displaying is a two dimensional well shaped pretty woman, which our eyes cannot deciphper versus a 3 dimensional object like a sphere, square or something like that. try staring at the darker shaded areas and you will likely see her rotate in the oposite direction, she isn't spinning. try and see for yourself, she's bouncing side to side the whole time. you should be able to make her shift quickly with ease. I love weird stuff like this!
No, I'm right handed. But I also found a written test online to take to see if the results matched. We all have both right and left brained traits, but I scored 11 right and 6 left so I am definitely more right than left brained. My son (15) could see it rotate both ways, and when he took the written test he was pretty evenly matched in right and left brain traits, which makes sense since he could see it spin both ways!
OMG, I just tried Greg Ninos idea of looking at the upper right hand corner of the picture, the gray shaded area, and she switched. Now I can make her switch back and forth! Cool!
I will admit I had her spinning clockwise, then I went to scroll down to comment and she changed. It sort of was strange. Interesting!
Donna: While staring at her... I have seen her spin both left to right and right to left... counter clockwise, and then clockwise. And... if I stare at her... I get to the point where I can see whichever way I prefer. Not quite sure what that means... LOL.
By the way... no matter which way she is spinning... I sure wish my body looked like hers... :)
Greg, I tried the whole look at the grey to make it change and it didn't work automatically like that, just sparatic.
Kelly, It's all about letting down your guard and trying to not predict what will happen.
Tony & Darcy, Good to see you using both sides.
Karen, I think many women wished their bodies look like that!
It took a few moments but after convincing myself it was possible (really, it was reading the posts where others saw it) I was able to change her to counter-clockwise. Very neat post!
Mark, Glad you were able to use your head, the entire head!
Girl, I see her spinning counter clockwise. That makes me left-brained: Logical, Sequential, Rational, Analytical, Objective, Looks at Parts.... Yup, that's me. 100%
Loreena, What are you doing here? You're on sabbatical!
I saw this a while ago on another post and it did not change the whole time I watched it. This time it has changed back and forth. Interesting, it seems to be right brain most of the time, but I am also very left brained.
I too would like to have body like that.
Doreen, I think it sometimes changes based on mood.
I see both ways, but I may not have enough brain left after this year in real estate...
Well, according to this situation, since I see her only spinning clockwise, I guess that I am right brained. However, if you ask anyone who knows me, I am not random, intuitive, holistic, or any of those things. I am definately more logical, sequential, rational, and analytical. Now what?
Oh my.. trying to trick up here... I must be stuck in the middle... going both ways...LOL
