I realized I haven't really posted about Alyssa in a few weeks, so I put together some scrapblogs to tell the story of what she's been doing.
Here is Memorial Weekend as we're enjoying the beautiful waters of my mom's community pool. She loves that "Steiner Ball" except her tooth poked a hole in it last week, so anyone in Austin, wanna send me a new one?
She very much enjoyed her watermelon, though not so much anymore. She has decided she doesn't care for her sunglasses.
More watermelon and more Steiner Ball before she chewed through it.
My little Kosher Ham loves the camera! Doesn't she look "guilty" in almost picture? That sling went back to the store after just one day because Alyssa took it as an invatation to just fling backwards, and that doesn't work.... She also figured out how to carry things in her mouth in order to get from point A to B.
If you have a lot of pictures and not sure what to do with them, you should open a free www.scrapblog.com account and make little collages like this. It's so easy and they print out like real photos that you can frame.
Beautiful baby. Lovely pictures.
Angelia, Thank you!
Great pictures. I do remember my girls when they were that little.
Robert, Thanks... and she is growing so fast, I hope I remember these days later.
WOW!!! I can't believe she is so big already. They sure do grow up quickly. Take lots of pictures and videos. She's beautiful.
I tried that arm wrap. It cut off my circulation and felt like it was going to unravel at any moment. It's great for stuffing bottles and other baby stuff in though. Maybe I didn't roll it up right? I dunno.
Is that one of her shoes or a small tonka truch she's chewing on? Preston has a little ball like that. He throws it everywhere......
Bryant, Thanks! Yes, we're taking tons of pictures. The memory card filled up again today. She'll be 9 months on the 16th. The pregnancy took longer during those 9 months than the past 9 months have gone.
Greg, No unraveling... it is like a large rubberband. It was actually fairly comfortable, except for her flinging backwards constantly. The yellow in her mouth is a train we call Chu Chu. She loves the sound of that. And the good thing about that ball is that it's so lite, it can't really break anything. The most annoying thing about it for her was that that AC would blow it around as she was trying to get it.
Sweet pictures of Alyssa! Boy it's a good thing you are moving now and not waiting until she starts school. When they start making friends it is really tough moving them away from them. Thanks for the update!!
Teresa, That is true... but my mom doesn't see it that way. I actually haven't told her we made a final decision yet... not sure when to tell her as we have 6-8 months before we would be moving.
Thanks for sharing your pics with us Donna.
Donna, Alyssa sure is a cutie, love the one with sun glasses, cool chick!
John and Duane, THank you!!
She's adorable Donna! Enjoy every moment while you can, they grow up SO fast. I've never heard of Scrapblog. I'm going to check that out. Thanks for the link.
