Austin TX Real Estate - Hill Country Austin Lakeway Homes for Sale: Lunch with Two ActiveRain Mortgage Professionals

Lunch with Two ActiveRain Mortgage Professionals

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting of our very own ActiveRain mortgage professionals, Jason Northcutt and John Cannata.  They are two very educated people about the mortgage industry and also seem to have heads on their shoulders, which you don't always find.

Jason works with Wachovia in the direct lending division, not sitting at a branch office.  John works with Reliant Mortgage which is a broker.  It's always interesting to get the different perspectives from both sides of the spectrum when someone works directly for a lender while another brokers out to lenders.

Overall, the meetings went very well, and I would recommend either of them to all of you.

Really?

Good for you. John is cool guy and always willing to help. I've not met or spoken to the other fella you mentioned. .. Hey, "A girl's gotta eat!" lol.

Hi Donna:

Thank you for the kind words!  It was great to have met you!  I look forward to speaking with you in detail as the days go on.  As I am sure you are aware of....Wachovia is turing into CitiBank.

I'm glad you are able to meet them. I try to put a face to the name but most often times, my schedules are challenged by now, an almost 12-month old. I guess no one would want to have a baby realtor tag along having baby mum-mums during lunch!

Greg, My sentiment exactly! LOL

Jason, No, I wasn't aware that the deal went through.  We'll definitely need to talk.

Loreena, Alyssa eats mum mums for snacks too... but she's all about the "real" food for actual meals.  I'm sure neither one would have minded if I brought her since they both have youngins too and we spent a lot of time talking about them.

It is so nice when you are able to step outside of the computer and meet your AR buddies face to face. I have met several people, but I will meet many more this coming year. GBU!

Over the weekend, Wachovia was purchased by Citibank.  It is still business as usual as the deal will not be completed till at least the end of the year.  It was a crazy weekend for my family....on Friday our house was robbed and than wake up to the news about my company on Monday...what a week!

Hope all is well!

Elizabeth, Yes, it is... others, I like them to stay in the computer...

Jason, Yikes!  You ok?  I hope you weren't home when you were robbed.  Glad to hear you're safe!

Hey Donna,  Apparently I missed this post.  It was a pleasure meeting with you and I appreciate the mention.

Greg - Not sure if you have had a chance to eat with Donna.  The girl can eat.  My wife thought I had a group meeting... just kidding Donna.

Jason  - Sorry to hear about this news.  I hope you and your family are okay.  Things can only get better from here.  Best of luck.
