This is way too too funny!! It's definitely worth the almost 7 minutes to listen to the entire thing. You'll find yourself laughing out loud and how often does that really happen?
Austin and Dallas people, didn't you love her description of how they shut down the entire city because of a snowflake? It's so true, it's sad, as it just happened last week!

I saw this on Facebook and it is hilarious. Classic.
Donna...I was watching that day when she talked to Gladys. It was soooo funny! I have seen her show it over and I laugh just as much. It feels wonderful to laugh!! BTW...I looked at your picture and you look like a child! And then I click on your profile and WOW! look at the points and the awards/designations. Great picture.
You were right on two counts, I just laughed and enjoyed it. And I agree, Texans tend to dramatize the little snowflake and shut everything down. Thanks for sharing!
Girl, this is too funny. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Thanks so much for sharing.
OMG... I was crying, that was so damn funny.
OK, that Gladys was a hoot! You just have to love it when people become so comfortable with themselves that they just don't care what anyone else thinks! She told it like it is!
I don't watch her show, it conflicts with Judge Judy in my market, but that was funny!
rarely do tears roll when laughing for me, but this woman & her listerine had me rollin
Donna, that was a hoot! I think I might try to 'reblog' it...never tried before, but I think everyone would enjoy that! Thanks for sharing.
Child?
This is too funny! You just never know what people this age will say. Just think Gladys will be your neighbor soon. I bet Ellen will call her again soon.
God Bless Gladys...that is classic!
I too was watching the show the day she made that call. I think it is one of the funniest things I have seen on her show. She hadn't called her in quite awhile and just called her for the first time last week in almost 6 months or more. That too was quite a funny call. What a great post!!
It was very very funny, but in the end it turned out that Gladys was a fraud, a man who plays a character as Gladys, at the time of the TV show it was all the buzz here in Austin. A local radio show OUTTED Gladys. As I recall, Ellen had no idea about the imposter.
Gail, You're kidding??!! I had not heard that. What a jerk!
It sounds too real to be fake.
I loved it when I saw it.
LOL@Mallwalker and "These people 'll stop you for having a little bit of listerine".
Fake or not, although hard to believe that's a man's voice, that was a great call!!
ok, feeling a little bit verklempt now.
